International Contest on “Innovative Ideas for Children’s Active Games at Home” 5th January 2016

Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran and International Play Association (IPA) are willing to hold an international contest for seeking innovative ideas for children's active games at home, 5 January 2016.

"International Contest on Innovative Ideas for Children's Active Games at Home" is an international contest supported by Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran and International Play Association and Iranian Association for the Child's Right to Play.
Submissions are invited from across the world for the most successful innovative ideas of active games at home for young people aged 3-8. 
The contest will encourage debate on the promotion of innovative ideas, allowing planners and those working with young people in a vareity of settings to share ideas.

  • Top 3 ideas will be honored by recieving the statue commemorating Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran and International Play Association. 
  • Top 50 ideas will be published in the Electronic Book entitled "Innovative Ideas for Children's Active Games at Home"

Important Dates:

Deadline for submission: 11 December 2015
Result announcement: 5 January 2016

Terms of Participation:
  • All individuals can take part in this event.
  • Participation in the event is free of charge.
Submission Qualification:
  • Each participant can submit up to three ideas.
  • Ideas should be typed in the attached form and have to be sent to this email address: ssrc.intoffice@gmail.com
  • Proposed ideas should contribute to the improvement of
Motor skills (such as walking, running, jumping, hopping,etc.), stability or balance.
Manipulation or controlling an object ( such as throwing objects) and coordination between organs (such as the bimanual coordination, eye & hand coordination, etc.).
  • Proposed games should be designed to play with only one child (not with a group).

Important Notes:
- Duplicated or copied ideas will not be included in arbitration process.
- In case of using equipment, it should be simple, safe, sanitary and secure, and also available in most homes.
